The Experience
We are looking for independent, eager, and friendly individuals who don't mind doing some manual tasks. We expect fifteen hours of help each week over five days. The duties involve housekeeping, cleaning, maintenance, and basic gardening. The schedule is typically drawn out on Saturdays or Sundays with two days off each week.

Volunteering here was a truly special experience! The hostel is beautiful, very clean and surrounded by nature. The work is well organized, and I immediately felt welcome thanks to the amazing group of volunteers, the lovely girls at reception, and the cats. It's a bit remote, so the nearest bus stop is about a 40-minute walk—but after that, you can reach anywhere. I'm really grateful for this experience and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature and hiking!

Valentina brought a warm and kind presence to the hostel,  and we only have great things to say about her and her work. She handled housekeeping with ease, always paying close attention to detail. Plus, she's an incredible cook—her talent often impressed other volunteers, and it was clear from conversations with her that she had a genuine passion for Marine Biology, her chosen profession. We would happily welcome her back again and definitely recommend her to other hosts. :)

The staff was super friendly as well as the other volunteering friends I made! Beautiful views and hiking paths and great internet connection as well… I loved it even when coming from a hot place I got super sick with the Irish environment… I enjoyed as much as I could. Work is light and hours are as agreed unless a bit less or more depending on workload.

Working as a volunteer in a hostel, it was the first time for me and I love it ! The staff are really kind and patient. The tasks are easy, you just need to not forget the details. After the work finish, you have a lot of time to relax and occupy your time with hobbies you like (hiking, drawing, napping). You can travel also in Ireland during your Days Off but you need to not be afraid about the time in the bus or transport. You need to like the countryside and pets before coming here. It was so hard to say goodbye to everyone. I want to come back, I have just good memories.
