Luis and Mil are incredible hosts—so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond by organizing events and parties, always treating us with the utmost respect. It was a pleasure to work with them as their social media manager, creating videos to help promote their tours. We had the chance to visit Tequila and Lake Chapala, and Gaby and I are so thankful for the experience. Their location in the historic downtown made it easy to explore local shops and restaurants, and the walking tours were a lot of fun. They're fantastic guides, and I highly recommend them as hosts!

I had an absolutly amazing time at the hostel. Mildred and Luis are not only amazing hosts; they are friends with all of the volunteers and guests. Volunteering at the hostel provided me with the perfect gateway to explore Guadalajara, continue practicing my Spanish, and meet amazing people. I would recommend volunteering here to anyone who is looking to immerse themselves in Mexican culture and learn about Guadalajara, one of Mexico's best cities.

I had an amazing time in Guadalajara at the hostel! I originally planned to just be there for 2 weeks but ended up extending it to 5 weeks. That's all down to Mil and the other volunteers who made it such a fun and comfortable place to be, I felt at home. Also, having 2 adorable dogs to snuggle is a bonus. I felt very included and welcome even though there was a language barrier between me and some of the other volunteers. We cooked together, hung out, went out and it felt like slotting into a friendship group. The work is'nt demanding so you have lots of time to explore the city.

This was my first volunteering experience, and a very good one. I really enjoyed combining my job as a graphic designer with my trip. Luis is very invested in improving the brand image of his hostel, which makes the work enjoyable, while being the hostel in my cretations. the hostel has been for me more than just a hostel, but a home in which we have formed a family with the other volunteers. I enjoyed the yoga classes as well as the different activities. Although the kitchen is not always very clean, we spent some very nice moments of sharing. I am very grateful to have been part of this adventure

Luis is such a nice and fun person. He really wants you to enjoy your stay and makes you feel very welcomed and included in the hostel. He wants the image of his hostel to change for the better and really wants to improve, so participating in this is very inspiring. It's not always super organised but you can talk to Luis about it and he'll do his best to make it better. You are right in the center of Guadalajara so it is easy to move around. I definetely recommand this host. More than a hostel, it's an experience ;)
