The Experience

We have a big farm where there is allways something to do. sometimes would be the kitchen, sometimes would be trimming and cleaning the beautiful park, or even asist the workers managing the cows on a horse. the real farm experience combined sometimes with hospitality when we have guests. Versatility its the key, and there is plenty to choose where you fell comfortable.

Had so much fun during my month at the farm, I learned a lot from these guys and got to work on new skills in the woods and fields. Gloria cooks amazing food and the volunteer house was always stocked with food and good vibes. Happy to come during the winter but 10/10 will return for the summer weather and parties.

I had a really good time. I learned a lot about gardening and my Spanish got better while being here. I had a lot of fun with the staff and the over head. I love the property and all it offers. You'll definitely have a fun time coming here.

The best part of the farm is the number of options it gives you. While I was there I got to work in the garden and vineyard, work with the cattle, and bartend at a couple parties. With my time off I could relax in my cabin, trek around the property, or take a day trip to Valdivia. Wherever I went, everyone was friendly and excited for the help despite my very limited Spanish. A great place for meeting people and trying new things.

As my first worldpacker experience, it has set the bar very high! It was so much fun. Work was different each day and you have the opportunities to learn many new skills. The Blackswan staff were very welcoming and made a conscious effort to integrate me into the farm . On top of all of this, the environment and scenery is breathtaking. The are many walks you can take, whether it be through rolling fields or forests. The accomodation is also super comfortable. It is however important to note that it is very isolated - but that mean's it is perfect if you are looking to get back into nature!
