A very memorable experience that makes my Bali trip complete. This is a little village where everyone is just so nice. I had the chance of participating in a big local ceremony. My host Ketut shares with me many knowledge and culture about the village and Bali. The teaching part is more rewarding than I imagined. I wish I could spend more time with the kids and am already missing them…

This volunteer was one of the most authentic and heartwarming experiences I've ever had. Teaching local kids through games, songs, and storytelling made every day fun and meaningful. The community is incredibly welcoming, and the project feels deeply rooted in Balinese culture. A beautiful way to give back and truly connect with the heart of Bali

My experience was amazing! The kids are very polite and super eager to learn, which made teaching really fun and rewarding. Carman is very attentive and helpful, and the whole community was incredibly warm and welcoming. The accommodation is clean, comfortable, and peaceful. English classes are just one hour per day during the weekdays, so you'll have plenty of free time to explore the area. Just keep in mind that you'll need to ride a scooter to get around and make the most of your time there.

I stayed in this project for 2 weeks and will take a lot of local impressions with me. We witnessed the Galungan celebration which has given me a deeper understanding of the Balinese culture. I felt so welcomed and respected by Ketut and his family, they did everything they could to guarantee a comfortable stay by offering you a cozy room and a kitchen outdoor. The project itself was a lovely experience since the children participate ambitiously. They were so sweet and happy to play the games we included in our lessons. You should use the bikes or a taxi to get somewhere, but I'd recommend!

I spent one week with Ketut and his lovely family and from the first moment, I really felt like a part of his Family. Ketut is one of the kindest people I've ever met, and his whole family is so warm, caring, and always ready to help with anything!! Teaching the children was such a beautiful experience. Every day, they came to class with big smiles and open hearts. It made me so happy to see how curious and motivated they are. This week has been truly special to me. I will always keep this experience in my heart. I'm so thankful I came here. Thank you Ketut! I hope to return one day!

I had an amazing time volunteering in Bangli! Ketut and his family are so welcoming and nice and take really good care of their volunteers. You get your own small apartment, which is very nice. The kitchen was sufficient, but you have to be prepared to not be able to cook everything there! My favourite part were the lessons with the kids, they were very cute and really participated in the lessons. I was also lucky enough to see a Balinese wedding! The only real downside, I would say is: It can get quite lonely at night, as it is a really remote area and not lots to do. So be aware of that.

We have seen a lot of the culture of the local people here, because of Galungan. Everybody was very friendly and it was really nice to meet the children en help them a little further in their process of learning English. Normally there will be a teacher on mon, tue, thurs, friday and you will assist. For us it was a little different, but everybody still made sure we felt at home. Definitely use your 'days off' to climb the Mount Batur, see some nature by motorbike or visit the vanilla farm at the end of the road. Good experience!

I had such a great time volunteering! Staying in the village was an amazing experience, and the local people were incredibly kind and welcoming. I got to experience the authentic culture of Bali, far from the touristy areas, and it was truly unique. I volunteered in both Japanese and English classes, which was not only fun but also a valuable learning experience for me as a university student studying language teaching. I highly recommend this volunteer program to anyone who wants to experience the real Bali culture. A huge thank you to everyone in the village for making me feel so welcome!

This week was an unforgettable time for me. My host family was very kind to me and always cared about me. The people in the village were also warm and I came to love this village. I studied Japanese with about 12 other students in the three hours of Japanese class each day, and they were all very studious. If I have the opportunity, I would like to come to this village again. I ate at a nearby restaurant called a warung every day, and all the Balinese food cooked by the mothers was delicious. If you come to volunteer in this village, please try it.
