The Experience

We are looking for volunteers that would like to support and motivate our English class by first and foremost just being present, answering questions and playing fun word games. We encourage you to join our two daily classes (morning + afternoon) where you will most often just be there for the last 30 min (the fun part), but it is not mandatory. You can make your own schedule every day according to your liking and join other group activities too!

I had a great time volunteering at the school. Ms Indah and Mr Y were great hosts and always made sure I had everything I needed. The kids are so much fun to work with and the teachers always try to make you feel included. The schedule is very flexible and you can join the classes anytime. I was only able to go a few places with some of the teachers because of the packed schedule this month, however I still had a great time and definitely recommend this experience.

Muhammad and Ms Indah provide such an authentic, rewarding and informative experience. the school was bursting with joyous students genuinely excited to learn English and find out more about other cultures and customs. The teachers there are also so helpful and really kind, this is clear when you see how beloved they're by all the students. Living with Ms Indah and Muhammad was great, we spent hours playing games, discussing each other's cultures and enjoying great food.

I spent one month with the school. At school the schedule is very easy with just a few hours per day, with kids of different age and many teacher to support you. The local community is very welcoming and friendly to foreign. My favourite part are the hosts, Mr Y open minded, hard working and kind and Ms Indah a beautiful person, generous and thoughtful. They were very flexible to allow and help us organise trip from half day to the beach or even a long week end in another regency. They said we're part of their family now and you can definitely feel it. Always gonna be in my heart ❤️

I had a wonderful time volunteering at the the school. Miss Indah and Mr Y are great and welcoming hosts that always took care of us.💕The teachers are incredible, so sweet and caring it really felt like a big family. The work is easy, you mainly just play games with the kids but you gotta be creative since you don't know which class you will have beforehand. Be prepared to take a lot of pictures since foreigners are a big attraction in the area. Overall it was a beautiful experience, the people are so welcoming, the nature is beautiful and you really immerse yourself in their way of life.❤️
