The Experience
Join our vibrant hostel team in Santa Marta as a bar volunteer! We seek a fluent Spanish and English speaker with excellent interpersonal skills. Your role will include serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a lively atmosphere. Located 5 minutes from the city center, our hostel is perfect for exploring Tayrona Park, Palomino, and Minca. Enjoy Santa Marta's beaches, nightlife, and culture in your free time.

The hostel is a great place to spend time in and around. The tasks are simple and you get the liberty of working together with other volunteers as well as with an amazing team in the kitchen and the reception. Guests are mostly laid back and open to have a chat whenever. There are also Colombian guests at times so you definitely get the opportunity to practice your Spanish. Sidenote: if you're big and will spend a longer period there, do inquire to have a solid matrass as that was the only thing that took some sleep and energy during a few nights! The only downside.

Mi experiencia como voluntaria fue muy buena. Los dueños y empleados del hostal son personas muy queridas y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. El ambiente es tranquilo y agradable. El trabajo es exactamente lo que se habla antes de llegar: las tareas son claras y se cumple con lo prometido en el acuerdo. Los horarios se respetan y hay buena comunicación en general. Recomiendo este voluntariado para los que quieren algo tranquilo, salir y conocer en el día y practicar idiomas.

El hostel se siente cómo un hogar. El personal es amable y te brindan apoyo y calidez humana, definitivamente es lo más valioso que tienen 💛. Las instalaciones son adecuadas,la comida que te brinda es rica y justa, la oportunidad de conocer personas nuevas y mejorar una segunda lengua es 100/10. Se respetan los horarios acordados y las tareas son fáciles de aprender, pero definitivamente si requieren responsabilidad y ser una persona proactiva para el puesto. Mil gracias por la experiencia 😊 fueron un hermoso lugar que me abrió muchas puertas

Vivir en el hostel y poder conocer gente tan linda durante todo estancia fue una experiencia muy agradable que volvería a repetir. Todo el staff del hostel siempre me ayudó en lo que necesitaba y logramos tener unos buenos vínculos durante y después de mi estancia. El cargo de bartender es divertido y te explican como hacer los cócteles, sin duda volvería a repetir la experiencia.
