I got in touch with the bahian culture and food. The tasks I was asked to do were very diverse, from cooking, cleaning to gardening. The location of the pousada is directly at the muritiba entrance and 5 min from the city center. I am thankful for this experience that I had. However I would recommend to speak at least intermediate portuguese to be able to communicate better. Obrigada a Paula pela paciencia. :-)

Sem palavras para agradecer a honra desse voluntáriado, sorte a de quem puder passar por aqui. A the guest house de fato de abraça, pq vc se torna membro da família (se quiser). Paula é uma mãe leonina, protetora, administradora, que acolhe e faz de tudo para termos uma boa experiência. Pedro um grande artistas e poder trocar entre as resenhas são aulas enriquecidoras. Seus filhos João e Joana são presentes da família e poder usufruir desse casarão, desde café da manhã regado, dos deuses nesses lugar divido é pra aplaudir de pé igreja. Gratidão família, vocês são pra sempre!

Querme en la casa de paula fue increible, cuando uno es viajero y esta tanto tiempo lejos de casa a veces necesitas el csriño de tu mama, y paula en cierta parte se vuelve tu mama, una persona increible que cocina como los dioses. Fue un placer quedarme en su posada, sin duda algun dia voy a volver.

Poder estender meu voluntariado na guest house foi a melhor coisa que poderia me acontecer. O lugar é magnífico, em uma imersão natural com paz e sossego. Paula é uma anfitriã nota mil, maravilhosa, super acolhedora e de uma ótima companhia, voluntariar no café da manhã com ela sempre foi maravilhoso, com muitos aprendizados e muitas risadas; Saindo daqui com muitas historias e receitas maravilhosasss! Só tenho a agradecer a Paula pela recepção.

Minha experiência não poderia ter sido melhor! A pousada é LINDA demais, rodeada de natureza, passarinhos, frutas no pé... e DO LADO do Parque da Muritiba :) As atividades e os horários foram exatamente como combinados, e a Paula é bem flexível caso você precisa fazer alguma mudança! Já tive várias experiências de voluntariado e nunca recebi tanta atenção e fui tão bem cuidada quanto aqui! A Paula é um serzinho muito iluminado que não mede esforços pra deixar a gente confortável com as tarefas e nossas experiências na pousada e na cidade. Com certeza vou levar a guest house no meu coração
