I'm so grateful to Paula for welcoming me to her guesthouse. The activities are light and the schedules are flexible. Lençóis is a wonderful city; you have to be there to truly understand its vibe.

I got in touch with the bahian culture and food. The tasks I was asked to do were very diverse, from cooking, cleaning to gardening. The location of the pousada is directly at the muritiba entrance and 5 min from the city center. I am thankful for this experience that I had. However I would recommend to speak at least intermediate portuguese to be able to communicate better. Obrigada a Paula pela paciencia. :-)

Minha experiência na guest house foi muito boa! 🌿 A Paula é uma anfitriã acolhedora, flexível e com um coração enorme. O espaço é cheio de arte, natureza e boas trocas. Só deixo uma observação: por ser muito compreensiva, às vezes ela evita colocar limites, e isso pode gerar desconfortos — como me sentir insegura diante da atitude de outro voluntário. Acho importante que todos se sintam bem e seguros na troca. 💚

Voluntariar na guest house foi um experiência muito positiva. A pousada é muito bonita, e a Paula e sua família são bem acolhedores, e fazem a gente se sentir parte da família também. As tarefas são simples de realizar e fáceis de aprender e o horário de trabalho é respeitado.
