Our community has spent the last decade breathing life back into this once-abandoned village, where our ancestors crafted stunning terraces, springs, and stone houses by hand. Now, we invite you to be part of our journey as we establish our Holistic Institute, a beacon of healing, spiritual growth, and ecological harmony. Nestled in the serene mountains of Portugal, just outside Viseu, lies our ecovillage! :)

This was one of the greatest experiences of my life. This place helped me to learn new skills, helped me to learn more about myself, and allowed to meet wonderful people living in the community, and also the ones visiting. Though, I should warn you that this place might not be for everyone. If you are looking for a comfort or a city life, you should probably consider something else. If you want to spend time in the nature and get away from the distractions of the city, this might just be the place for you. Miguel is a wonderful host, and if you are open minded, you will enjoy your time here.

If you want to reconnect with nature and see beautiful place I recommend it. The river is magical and I enjoyed the place, it is so calm and peaceful, the good was very good and Nigel is respectful and flexible. I enjoyed spending time with him, macking fire in the night and talking about many subject. He share with me his passion for chocolate, medicine and a lot of other things ! I recommend this place to peaupole who want to be lost in the nature and learn more about building eco house with local people (:

My friend's and my time on Miguel's land was truly one of a kind. We were able to learn about sustainable construction and gardening, as well as leading an environmentally aware lifestyle. Cabrum is a beautiful village, and the surrounding river and forest are breathtaking. It's the perfect place for anyone who wishes to get closer to nature and learn more about sustainability. Miguel was very kind and flexible with the hours and schedule of work. The tasks got a little bit repetitive at times, but Miguel was happy to give us other tasks as well. We are both grateful for this experience!

The landscape and the view in the mountains were incredibly beautiful. The food was amazing, healthy and it was nice that it was always vegan for me. I've slept in a tent with a matress, the tasks were doable, but there was not that much freetime to explore. I had some nice conversations about life - depending on who else is staying there it could help to speak portugiese. It was great to help Miguel's home to evolve more and I'd love to come to the village festival another time:) Much luck and success for everything that's still undone!

No geral, foi uma experiência incrível! O lugar é lindo, e as pessoas são calorosas, o anfitrião é gentil e prestativo. Apesar de exigentes, os serviços são tranquilos de realizar. A alimentação é boa, embora seja estritamente vegetariana (informação que não recebi ao me inscrever para a experiência). Vale destacar que, apesar de maravilhoso, o local é bem afastado da cidade, o que pode dificultar a locomoção. O anfitrião sempre tenta ajudar no que for possível, mas nem sempre será fácil ir até a cidade, então é algo a se ter em mente antes de planejar sua estadia.
