I spent three unforgettable months volunteering at the guest house and honestly, the time flew by. The views were absolutely stunning, and the work was always fair and flexible. Struan and Isla are truly two of the most wonderful people I've ever met. Kind, generous and incredibly welcoming, they made me feel at home from the very beginning. On weekends, Struan often took us to visit beautiful spots nearby, which made the experience even richer. I'm grateful for the time I spent there and for the opportunity to help in their lovely garden. I deeply recommend this place!

They were absolutely incredible! So informative and allowed us to really explore and see what the village looked like. Work was easy and non constricting. Would 100% stay again!

Struan and Isla are two of the kindest, warmest people I have met. Staying with them at the guest house was an absolute pleasure. I stayed in a glamping tent and it was very comfortable fit with a fireplace and plenty of blankets. I would just recommend bringing an eye mask and earplugs to block out morning light & birds. The work is very fair, you can choose the hours you work and your tasks and then the rest of the day is yours. On weekends, Struan would kindly take us to see various attractions. I loved my time here and am very happy to chat more about it with prospective volunteers.

Genuinely, the most life-changing experience of my life. I am so thankful for having such wonderful, caring, and supportive hosts like Struan and Isla. We got to learn about gardening through easy to do tasks, visited castles, gardens, local food and got a really good sense of the culture and local people, who are all so incredibly sweet! I felt incredibly safe here at all times and chores were easily manageable, done on your own timeline. I recommend checking out the trail next to the cemetery for some amazing views. I will never forget my experience, and couldn't recommend it more!!

This was our first experience with WorldPackers and we are so glad we chose the guest house. Me and my girlfriend decided to stay from the beginning of March until April 10th. After spending a month with them we extended our stay for another 2 weeks because we loved the company, property, and hospitality. Struan snd Isla are absolutely incredible people and truly felt like family. They are both teachers so they are gone during the day but after work and weekends they are more than happy to bring you to town if need be! This was such a good experience! I would love to share more!
