Your role would involve tasks such as hostel upkeep, meal preparation, guest interaction, and, of course, ensuring everyone has a great time! Volunteering at the hostel was absolutely amazing! The location close to the center of Faro was great, the city is a bit small but charming nonetheless. Being part of the team was so much fun and I met incredible people that made the trip even more special :) The work is fairly easy and having 3 days off a week makes it possible to visit other beautiful nearby cities or go to the different beaches all around. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who wants to enjoy the amazing scenery of the Algarve and socialize with people!

My experience at the hostel was amazing! The hostel is really nice and modern. The work was as agreed, wasn't too hard at all and there was almost always a supervisor around in case you had any questions :) The location in Faro is also great, it's a rather small town but you can visit the old town, go to the beach, and go out, and it's easy to reach other places in Algarve! With 3 days off per week, you have more than enough time to explore! Especially staying with up to 5 other volunteers at a time means you get to know a lot of new people and I formed some amazing friendships here <3
