I had a wonderful time at the guest house. The main duty is just to prepare a simple breakfast in the morning and occasioanlly help with checkins if Bart happens to be away when guests arrive otherwise just help Mani the cleaning lady keep things tidy and make sure guests are comfortable. Samana is a pretty quiet town outside of whale watching season but it is located in the center of the peninsula and is a fairly fast and cheap bus ride from beautiful beach towns like las terrenas and las galeras. Also Amazon is the best hostel dog you will ever meet.

La experiencia en la casa fue increíble. Samaná es una pequeña localidad con mucho encanto, la cual te permite sumergirte de lleno en la cultural local. Bartosz, el encargado del hostel, es una persona muy buena, está dispuesto en todo momento a ayudarte y guiarte. Las tareas son muy fáciles y flexibles, pudimos conocer y visitar todas las playas. El ambiente del hostel también es muy acogedor y tranquilo. Muy recomendable!!

Mi experiencia en este voluntariado fue increíble, tuve muy buena relación con Bartosz, el es muy amable y siempre atento a que estés bien :) además las tareas fueron demasiado simples, son muy flexibles. Recomiendo mucho este lugar si quieres salir a explorar ya que Samana es lo más céntrico para que puedas conocer los alrededores de la península. Espero volver algún día! Amazon y Safi 🐶🐱 te alegrarán la vida!!
