My sons went and volunteered here and they had an amazing experience. They only had rave reviews and positive things to say and gratitude. The locals were so engaging and kind and Wiz and his family took time out of his life to really welcome and show my boys a great time. They both came away changed for the better from this experienced and excited to do another one. Thank you!

Hello Quinae! Wow, you sure did a fine job raising two young men. We had such a nice experience with Xander and Soren and we sure hope to get to meet you one of these days as well !

My experience at the Center was amazing! my trip was last minute with tickets already booked and Joey was super flexible with dates so that helped a ton. we were lucky enough to stay in a small house a mile away from the farm. Most of the work I did while at the Center was making hiking paths and some concrete work on their main road. Some days were a lot more physically intense than other and what really stood out to me was Joey's genuine care for us, he didn't want us to burn out or get injured, Thank you so much Joey for having me!

Thank you, Xander, for coming to join us and the awesome times shared during your stay! We loved having you and your brother and it was an overall pleasure to welcome you to the Sumer Farms community. The neighbors, other volunteers, contract workers, and everyone who got to meet you were all positively touched by your energy and enthusiasm. Please come back and see us again soon!

I fully enjoyed my time at the Center, the peace found on the property is unmatched. Two long term residents, Jamie and Zoe, made the experience what it was by offering community and wonderful food to the volunteers, they made it feel like home. The work we did was centered around the health and wellbeing of us and the finca, mostly harvest and maintenance around the houses, gardens, and trails; the work-life balance was fitting for a work stay. Had to be flexible with sleeping arrangements and transportation in and out of the farm, and the property is fairly deep in the mountains as well

I spent 3 weeks at the Center. I really enjoyed my stay thanks to one of the permanent residents, Jaime, who is really engaged with the volunteers, as well as keen to educate and teach about the Puertorican culture and cuisine. Blake and Joey who run the farm are very kindhearted people. Heads up is to be flexible where you sleep if you don't sleep in a tent. The chores that I did were more maintenance of the property and to clean the houses after AirBnB guests. I think it would have been a full circled experience if there would have been a yoga or building event at the time I was there.
