The Experience

Hola! Esta posición es para ayudar a montar un evento festivo privado y gratuito de unas cien personas el fin de semana del 14 al 16 de junio. Buscamos a alguien que sepa montar fiestas y que esté dispuesto a pasárselo muy bien ayudando y disfrutando del ambiente. Las tareas serán ayudar a montar los aparatos electrónicos como proyector y altavoces, asistir en tareas de bartending, montar una fiesta de la espuma, dirigir un karaoke, etc.

Rocallaura es un pueblito muy cálido a pesar de que las temperaturas en invierno oscilen entre 0 y -4 grados, gracias a las personas que conocerás ahí. Mirella fue una gran anfitriona, me sentí parte de su familia y una hija más. Las actividades entre semana son básicas: revisar que las pistas estén en buen estado, preparar el bar (que abre sábado y domingo), etc., y dependerán de tu perfil. Tuve la oportunidad de aprender a cocinar bocadillos, tortillas, setas y papas, así como de caminar por los senderos y recorrer algunos caminos para practicar mountain bike con la bicicleta de la familia.

Me quedé cerca de un mes y medio en Rocallaura Bike Park y fue increíble! El sitio es muy hermoso, los hermanos (Mireia, Miquel y Roger) son muy accesibles y las tareas son bastante tranquilas. Durante la semana es necesario hacer el mantenimiento de las rutas (quitar ramas y piedras) con un paisaje increíble, u otra tarea como ayudar con el envasado de agua (hay una fuente) y cosas de la casa. Los fines de semana, la principal tarea es ayudar en la cocina cuando los ciclistas están y, a veces, también limpiar los cuartos.Fui muy bien recibid, mi primera experiencia en WP fue maravillosa

Fue una muy buena experiencia, me trataron de la mejor forma posible, la verdad les recomiendo vivir la experiencia en Rocallaura, un pueblo muy tranquilo para relajarse, ya que el trabajo tampoco es pesado, se puede organizar bien los horarios. Sin dudas volveré en algún momento!

Fue mi primer voluntariado, y realmente la experiencia aportó tanto en mi vida que me quedan cortas las palabras. No me queda más que gratitud con toda la familia, pues son unas personas maravillosas, muy calidas, respetuosas y amigables. El lugar es increíble, es perfecto para desconectarse y estar en contacto con la naturaleza, tiene unos paisajes únicos y realmente se respira paz. Realmente ha sido una experiencia muy constructiva y enriquecedora, espero algún día volver!
