The Experience

Hey :) We are a married couple with a piece of land in the most beautiful part of Sweden. We have lots of creative ideas for our garden and our home and we would love some general support. Fredrik is a musician and Janie an interior designer/ artist. Together we love to create relaxing and beautiful spaces. We run a business together, organise music events, love to play cards and travel a lot. Our airbnbs are in 2 other houses on the property.

Our volunteer work was more than great: amazing. The place is a paradise, from our room we can see the lake and the flowers that Jannie planted in the season. Fredrik opened the doors of his house to us and we were able to get to know him better, he was very kind to us and we even got to play cards. There was a list of possible tasks and we could choose the tasks we liked, in our case we did a DIY project, we painted, harvested potatoes and apples, cleaned and other miscellaneous things. Tussam, the cat, was a plus to everything we experienced there ♥️. 100% recommended

The place is stunning, there is a lake and the option to use a boat and stand up paddle boards. Tusan is a very loving cat and the hosts Fredrik and Janie are very kind. We shared more with Fredrik than with Janie, but we are still very grateful to Janie for sending us detailed information about the tasks we had to do even before we arrived. 100% recommended!

We had such a lovely time staying with Freidrik and Janie! They are two exceptionally kind people and made us feel so welcome in their beautiful home. Their property is absolutely stunning, and I still miss waking up in the morning to drink my tea out by the lake. El hogar de Frederik y Janie es increible, lleno de bosque, naturaleza y un gran lago en la puerta de la habitación que te dan, esta equipada con todo lo necesario, es confortable y preparada para el frio! No olvides comprar tu comida en el pueblo de la estación de tren. Nuestra experiencia fue muy linda, pudimos disfrutar mucho de la naturaleza, el lago cada mañana y las estrellas por la noche. Compartimos agradables momentos con Jannie y Fredrik, cocinamos y pasamos el rato. Son muy buenos anfitriones, dispuestos a ayudar y solucionar cualquier inconveniente
