Hey Travelers!
Sultan-i Yegah is more than a café and restaurant; it’s a home for creativity, flavors, and culture. We’re looking for volunteers to join our kitchen and service team, and there are also chances to share other skills like painting, gardening, or any artistic touch you’d like to bring.
Here you’ll dive into authentic Turkish cuisine, especially our Aegean-style mezes, and be part of a warm, multicultural environment. Kitchen experience is a bonus, but what really matters is good energy, openness, and a love for making people feel welcome.
Since we receive people from all over the world, speaking English or Spanish is a great help, both is even better! If this sounds like you, we’d love to have you on the team!
Activities & Shift
As a volunteer, you’ll help in the kitchen with a variety of tasks. This includes assisting the chef in preparing authentic Turkish dishes, helping with food prep, cooking simple recipes, and keeping the space clean by washing dishes and organizing. Shifts are flexible and usually shared with other volunteers, so there’s always teamwork and a chance to learn along the way.
Rules
It is a historical building, and volunteers have to be careful with the building (Walls, doors, etc.). It is a very silent place; it's not allowed to make noise after the place is closed.
