The Experience

We are a family of 5, Pallavi and I (Ravi) plus our parents & sister. We invite you to meet us and share with us the everyday life of a Himalayan Tribal family, cooking, farming, etc. Since this a very peaceful Scenic high altitude Himalayan village where we run a small homestay of 3 rooms. We would like to learn from different cultures & adopt some practices to make our homestay more attractive to outside travelers & backpackers.

My experience at the home Homestay, Pallavi and Ravi's hospitality was outstanding. They not only provided comfortable accommodations but also engaged us in meaningful cultural exchanges, sharing local stories and traditions. Their willingness to involve us in daily activities truly enriched our understanding of the region. The food prepared by rahul was exquisite, allowing us to savor traditional flavors and local cuisine. The homestay's serene surroundings and panoramic views added to the overall charm of our stay. I left the home Homestay with cherished memories and experiences

My adventure began by meeting Pallavi (hostel owner) in Manali and we went to Keylong together. We didn't stop talking the entire way and I felt super comfortable at all the home. What can I say about the home…it is a united family that makes all its guests feel at home. Experience is wonderful and everyone has helped me with the tasks and everything. Besides, Keylong is a worthy place to visit, views are amazing and trekkings even more so. I encourage you all to participate in this volunteering! Really thank you to the home for the moments you have given me with them!
