Frank the host is despite his own busy schedule always quick to reply and help. Because of him I got to see more of the beauty of há giang as he also took me with another volunteer to a beautiful waterfall, a memory I will never forget! The students are very diverse, it was fun and I felt honored to be able to teach so many different groups and get more experience. I learned a lot, both about teaching and connecting with others around me. I didn't feel lonely cause the workers are very kind and welcoming. I had a great time and I will visit again in the future if possible! Thank you Frank.

During my time at the institute, I was treated very well. They gave me a private room with a bathroom, picked me up and dropped me off at my accommodation, and I was also able to use a bicycle provided by the hotel. My colleagues were respectful and kind. I taught children from ages five to 15, and I can say that Vietnamese students are very respectful of their teachers and also very affectionate, especially the younger ones. The agreed-upon working hours were also respected. Thanks to all of this, I was able to develop my skills as an English teacher. Thanks for this enriching experience!

I am grateful to have had this experience. The work is as described. The students are wonderful. Having a motorbike would be beneficial, as you have a lot of free time, and the city is quiet. The host, Frank, is kind, accommodating and responsive. He was keen to teach us about local cultural practices and the history of Vietnam. He is busy with work, but we did have 3 days together in the month in which he showed us amazing views, waterfalls, and a cave. The local people are so friendly, and with time, I made connections that made it sad to leave. Thank you for everything!

Volunteering here has been an amazing experience. From the very beginning, the team was supportive and made sure I had everything I needed. My main role was working with children to help them to improve their English, and the entire process was well-organised and rewarding. The staff at the academy are incredibly friendly, welcoming and fun to be around. They create a positive and supportive environment, making it easy to feel at home. This experience was the perfect opportunity to slow down, take a break from travelling, and enjoy a more relaxed routine. I highly recommend this volunteering
