The Experience

The service will mainly be polivalent and contact with customers. We need help with reception, cleaning, breakfast, and whatever tasks needed. We have lounge and outside areas, where our guests can read books, do yoga, listen to good music, have a drink, sunbath, and so much more. Your role is to guarantee our guests have the best experience while you also have a good time with us.

I've been in the hostel for a month and it's been an amazing experience. Our team was perfect, we made a really great connection between volunteers. Also Valeriia was really nice, she's helpful, caring and she knows how to do literally everything. It's the ideal experience to meet new people from all over the world. The only thing was the length of the shifts, but the jobs were pretty easy to get used to. Communication with some members of the restaurant staff was sometimes a problem. In the complex very great experience, I entirely recommend it and I'll bring with me the memory🫶🏻

The hostel is a big family in which I took part since from the first day. The staff are all amazing people and I couldn't ask for a better view, the work shift could be boring depending on the hours but there's always someone to be with. The vibes are incredible and there I saw the best sunset of my life. All togheter was 9.5/10 just for some misunderstanding we had with the house the volunteer were in, but they are committed to make it right. I now have friends from all over the world and I can call that place home because I know I can go back whenever I want🫂❤️

Spending a month volunteering in the hostel was such a great experience! I loved the cute little town, the amazing nature around, and meeting some really nice people along the way. Valeriia is super kind and always there to help out whenever something unexpected happened at reception. Just a small note: the hostel could benefit from having more staff during high season. Also, the restaurant manager's mood was a little inconsistent at times. But overall, I had a really good time and it's an experience I'll definitely remember!

The hostel in Vila Nova de the hostel ✨ This was my first volunteering experience through Worldpackers and I couldn't ask for a better one. Work was easy but little bit more responsible and unpredictable that I thought it would be but after few shifts I get used to it. We had so much free time to go surfing or to go on some trips. My manager Valeriia was so helpful and respectful what I appreciated so much! I felt in love so easily with this small magical village, so it was so hard to left this place after month. This is not the last time I've been here. I am so looking forward to come back soon. ❤️

The host told me that the hostel in the hostel was full and offered me to volunteer at Porto Covo, I accepted but the staff house is not nice. You live in a flat 5 minute walking, in a shared room with 8 people total. The bathroom is shared with two other rooms, it is in the worst conditions. Besides that, the experience was beyond amazing! The staff was really nice, very welcoming and were very patient while I was adapting. The tasks are easy, and have lots of free time, I went to the beach and traveled around! I recommend this place if you want to travel, meet people and have fun!
