The Experience
We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher for English classes who can help children from marginalized areas learn English (both speaking and writing). This includes 4 hours of lessons per day, 5 days a week. The teacher should be tolerant, flexible to new teaching approaches, and have general understanding of the Indian culture and how it impacts the learning process. It was a wonderful experience. The place is very comfortable, clean, the coordinators are nice and ready to help you as well as all the people involved. Outside of volunteering, I had time to go on tours and activities with the association and was very helpful in connecting with this wonderful country, India. I recommend SBB to everyone. Thank you!

Volunteering with the organization in Jaipur was incredible from beginning to end. The team couldn't have been more supportive, helping us organise excursions and offering constant guidance. The project itself is truly inspiring—empowering children through education and creating real, lasting the organization. The kids we worked with are absolute superstars: bright, enthusiastic, and full of potential. Being part of their journey was both humbling and uplifting. This experience has left a lasting mark on our hearts, and we're so grateful to have been a part of it.

This was the first time I've ever really done something like this. But it ended up being one of the most meaningful trips of my life. I'm writing this in my last few hours at the accommodations, and I don't want to leave. The children are such wonderful, amazing, sweet kids. Being here really changed my life. If you want an experience that you'll remember forever, this is it. Aplav, Hasmik and Deepen seriously went above and beyond to help me and make sure I was taken care of. They're forever my family in India and I can't wait to come back!

Volunteering with this project was a life-changing experience that profoundly impacted me. I had the opportunity to teach English and do activities, witnessing their growth while also growing myself. This project not only allowed me to make a difference, but also introduced me to incredible people I hope to stay connected with for life. I had a great experience. The accommodation its clean and nice, and Hasmik, Applav, Preeti, Uditi and everyone working with the organization were there for any question or need. The kids are lovely and seeing them so eager to learn is really inspiring and fulfilling. Thank you the organization team for the experience!
