The Experience

Come join us in our friendly hostel as one of our team! We would love help with creating a community of backpackers here in our hostel. This means we want someone who can talk to guests or other solo travellers and help create a nice atmosphere! We would also love additional help by having new eyes to help us improve our lovely old house (finding room defects, collecting trash blowing in the breeze, etc.) so that we can improve ourselves!

I had a lovely time volunteering at the hostel! ♥️ The team is very well-organized, professional, and at the same time very warm and easygoing. The tasks are quite relaxed — helping out at the bar or in the kitchen, which makes the work feel fun and engaging. The working hours are flexible and not overwhelming, and Liubov is always understanding when it comes to schedule changes or days off! The hostel has a lovely backyard to relax in, and it's located in a lively, authentic Berlin neighborhood — perfect for immersing up the city's raw and vibrant atmosphere!

If you're thinking about going to Berlin to stay at the hostel, I can just say—do it! The city is awesome, and the hostel is really well located, close to the train station, a market, and everything you might need. Lubov is a very open-minded person who will listen to you, genuinely care about you as a person, and give you space to share ideas for activities or anything that might make the environment better and more fun for both guests and the team. The team—whether volunteers or staff—you'll meet some truly amazing people. I could spend a whole day talking about them, but no more words, sorry ;) ❤
