Working at the project was a good experience, but as the village is very small and isolated, there was not much to do in the free time. I recommend you ask a lot of specific questions from the host before your arrival, so you don't arrive surprised! Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay teaching at the project and getting to know locals from the village.

The stay in Matekela Village was an eye opening experiance for sure! The kids were amazing and fun to teach. Just be aware that the location of the village is far away from the town and it's kinda hard to go anywhere.
