Was here last year, came again and really enjoyed it again! the staff is very nice and always available to help, the room you sleep in is big and cozy, the work you have to do is also well explained (both by Sara and the rest of the staff if needed and not too heavy… overall a great experience! i'd recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the city and meet new ppl :)

I really enjoyed working here as a volunteer! I worked at reception and was responsible for checking people in, reorganizing the storage room and simply helping guests out. The tasks were very well explained and easy to learn. Besides other volunteers, I got to work with a lot of Berlin locals who were all really nice and fun people. I made really good friends while staying here and would recommend volunteering at the hostel to anyone who would love to explore the hostel have a fun place to work at!! Also as a volunteer you get free breakfast every day and a flexible schedule!

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel, the hours were fair and the schedule was respected. Sara was flexible when i had some requests concerning the schedule, which i appreciated. I did multiple tasks during my stay and was able to visit multiple countries during my days off. The strict schedule can feel overwhelming sometimes as it is the busy season during summer. But overall i had a lovely time in Berlin.

The hostel was a great experience- the work was fair and it is a really nice place to stay. Working in reception gave me the opportunity to get to know some of the staff that would be working with me and allowed me to practice/pick up a little German. The central location is also great for being able to get around the city during my time off.

My experience at the hostel was really good, you get provided with a private room and a monthly schedule so you can plan in advance your stay in Berlin, the team is really good and the work in the Bar was the highlight of my stay. Sara it's a great host and will help you with anything. You get provided with breakfast and Dinner everyday (unless no groups are scheduled for the day) but it's not often specially now in high season. Work is 25/h - 6/h a day for 4 days a week. Shifts can vary from being in the bar, helping at the reception or the breakfast area.
