The Experience

We are an international college with students from many different countries, situated in north east England. Our college is in a beautiful rural area, in the middle of 30 acres of park and gardens, also inhabited by our local wildlife (deer, rabbits, foxes..) and we have a big walled garden where we grow organic vegetables and potatoes . My volunteer experience was amazing. Great food, lovely people, and a positive vibe. The work can be tough, but you could work at your own pace. CICD is a place where you can engage with topics that are not easily found elsewhere. Everyone runs the school together, they are always trying to make you feel welcome and embraced. There are people from different countries and cultures, with diverse backgrounds, making it perfect for those seeking cultural immersion. If you're a digital nomad, it might be a bit tiring to balance work and volunteering, but overall, the experience is enriching. I met so many wonderful and courageous people here, it was nice! 🤗✨
