Description
Volunteers contribute with fee to help cover the costs with food, materials and activities. We provide: - Accommodation on a shared dorm - 3 meals a day, coffee, tea and fruits. - Free Laundry - Yoga classes - Capoeira classes - Jungle / Waterfall hikes - Surf lesson with discount

When you come to our village, the first thing you do is to relax and take time to understand the spirit of the people... At first we will ask for help with small things and slowly we will learn each other and we will be able to move forward. Afterwards, you will notice how things go - everyone finds a project for themselves (and if not we help them) then we go to a movement class - and a short discussion circle that brings up ideas and methods o

Thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villageis such a special place! It was my first Worldpackers experience, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Everyone at thethe ecothethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villageis so welcoming and makes you feel right at home the second you get there. The nature here is incredible, and the wildlife is so cool to see around thethe ecothethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village village! Morning start with yoga, capoeira, and breathwork. All of the classes were so amazing and fun to try! The work is fun and easy with a lot of downtime to explore around the area. The energy that surrounds this place is beyond special. Thank you thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villagefor the amazing space you've created!

I had a wonderful stay atthe ecothe ecothethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village village, my first volunteering experience through Worldpackers! Thethe ecothe ecothethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villageis welcoming, and mornings started with classes of yoga, capoeira and kung fu followed by light and enjoyable tasks like cooking, cleaning, or gardening. I loved bonding with the other volunteers, sharing meals, and learning from each other. The property is spacious and close to beaches, waterfalls, and Montezuma, offering plenty to explore in free time. Grateful for the experience and the amazing people I met!

My first volunteer experience and I loved living in thisthe ecothe ecothethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village village. We cooked together, played card games, did yoga/capoeira/kung fu/breathwork in the morning, learned about planting and prepared the space for a festival. There are a lot of volunteers, so its basically like a big family! The work is easy&fun and in the afternoon you are free to go to the beach by walk and hitchhike or just chill in thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villageFloor surrounded by the jungle and its animals. I loved the calm atmosphere and the connection inbetween everyone!

Thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villageis truly a special place, deeply connected to nature and surrounded by beautiful people who are now lifelong friends. I'm grateful for this magical experience of being connected to nature. I will definitely be back in the future. There are a few things you should know. You have to hike up and down a steep mountain to get to the beach or town. Also, meals are self prepared, which wasn't a problem but it wasn't clearly mentioned prior. Also, some locals have expressed concerns about environmental impacts of BF's expansions. I hope as they expand they incorporate more local voices.

I have mixed feelings about my stay. It was my first volunteer experience so I didn't really know what to expect. There was not much work to do, almost none and the owner would ask us to follow another volunteer. There is a small garden to take care of but mostly it felt just cooking and cleaning after ourselves. The owners let me paint a mural which was very nice of them and also they teach great yoga and capoeira. However I do not agree with project's intentions and felt a bit uncomfortable knowing locals point of view. I would just recommend to check out the website to have a better view.
