Hostel Work for Free Accomodation

This was my first experience as a Worldpacker and it was generally good. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, the accommodation was cosy, and the breakfast was really good. The tasks are average for any hospitality venue, and they are very respectful of your working times and your free time. I only wish there were some integration activities to get to know the other team members or to have some different things to do other than your job or just being on your own. Weimar is such a beautiful but quiet city, though there are some other cities nearby by train that you can visit :)

We had to leave early because of personal reasons but the experience overall was good. We worked with a really nice group of international employees. The work is not hard but a little tiring. The rooms are clean and spacious. We came on off season so the town was a little quiet so I would recommend doing as many day trips as you can. Also, it's mostly locals in the town who aren't used to having many international tourists, so I would recommend picking up some German phrases before your trip. Overall it was a good experience and I learned a lot! Prost!

Before we arrived, Nhung was super helpful and communicative. It made us feel comfortable immediately. My friend and I had to leave quickly during to a personal emergency. So, we didn't get the full experience that we were hoping for, however, the work was easy and dependent on the needs of that day. The staff was super friendly and helpful! They made our experience a welcome one. This is a great place if you like to study history and if you want to practice your German. I would recommend that you know a bit of German beforehand as the town is smaller and more localized. Was a good experience!

The hostel was amazing, best hostel I've been in! Nhung was really friendly and approachable, and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our stay here! The rooms were clean and warm, breakfast every morning was free and good, and you could use the guest kitchen to cook dinner. Work hours were really reasonable, and the staff helped us get up to speed with the tasks. Huge shout out to Riccardo, Michelle, Neil, Natalia, Mostafa, Wacas, and everyone that made us feel so welcomed. Weimar is also quite a central location in Germany and you can travel anywhere conveniently. 5 stars:)

From the first moment we had a great experience and welcome, all the members of the work team there are great people, they always helped us and taught us in different tasks. The kitchen team are great and friendly people, every day you learn something new and that It is valuable for us. It is a very quiet small city, you have a good place to rest and a good space to have your free time. It has several cities nearby and you can go to learn a lot about their culture and new experiences.

Great experience, I would recommend it. Weimar is very cute and it is well located for traveling in Germany. The hostel is very nice and clean, working hours are respected. The work can be a little challenging on occasion but it is doable. I would recommend the experience more for those looking for a quiet place to study/work rather than to party. The managers and staff were very friendly, they definitely made the experience better and it was a pleasure to meet them. Thank you all for the experience, hope to see you again! :)

It was a very good experience, the managers and staff were very friendly. Weimar is a small city, but it is close to other big cities, where you can get to know and visit more things. In general the work is not complicated, the hotel is very comfortable.

I only spent 2 weeks there and had to leave for an emergency they were very understanding. Generally, i think it was a good experience with them, the workload is not a lot but becomes a little physically challenging after a while. Weimar is a small town in Germany so don't expect to have crazy parties hhh, but it has a charming city vibe you will find something to enjoy.. i was also able to travel around Germany a little because of the days off which was amazing
