The finca was amazing! The work itself was very doable and we got to ride most days. The accommodation had everything that you need and the freedom of food (and help from the kitchen staff) was brilliant. It was also a great opportunity to improve my Spanish. The free time with the people I met there was so fun, and it was also a great place to relax when I was alone. One thing to note is that there wasn't much guidance on tasks during the day but as soon as I got used to the work it was great to practice initiative! Thank you so much for such a great time and such nice workers!!

The guest house is a place to recommend. The place offers many opportunities and it's a real paradise. There's not much guidance and volunteers have to take initiative and search for tasks. It will be seen and appreciated. The place is quiet and directly in the nature. It helps if you speak Spanish because most of the stuff doesn't speak English. You prepare your food by yourself in the restaurant kitchen. It's very nice if you like to cook. The accommodations are fine and offer everything necessary. Also the bathrooms are good, it's only up to everyone to keep it clean :) Gracias por todo!

I really enjoyed my time at the Finca. Having other volunteers there during the stay is really what made it but also enjoyed attempting to talk to staff and improving my Spanish. Access to nice food and good sleeping arrangements

I had a great time at Finca. I ran some of the social media pages while there, but was also able to learn a lot about the horses through the other volunteers. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to other volunteers looking for a remote area and for anyone looking to practice their Spanish

I loved my stay at the finca, working with the horses was great, the crew was very welcoming. I would recommend bringing experience with horses, as they tend to be very wild, as well as spanish knowledge, as for me it was sometimes a little hard to understand everything and converse with some of the staff. Also note, that the finca is a little farther from Poptun, so being the only volunteer can get a little lonely at times. Else what, everything was great. The work was easy, the riding a lot of fun and the free use of the kitchen a great addition. Maria was a friendly and open minded host.
