My experience at the farm was a perfect first time experience, Sam and his family were so helpful and no matter what questions I had wether it be about the work or something about a day trip I was planning he was always available with advice even in emergency situations which made me feel really reassured. The work was very structured, you knew when to start and when you were free including off days & if you didn't like certain jobs you were often allowed to do which one you preferred.

Definitely great experience! Sam and Everyone at the Center the farm was nice and welcoming. The working hour are very reasonable and fare. The work itself is not too hard (exept waking up a bit early) and there are a lot of jobs around the place, and you can ask to do different things. But the best thing to me was the great volunteers that I met and the friends that I made there. Recommended!

I'm so glad that I picked the farm as my first World packers experience! Everyone I met here was kind and welcoming, Sam is a great host. If there is a job you don't want to do (weeding) he is happy to let you do something different. I really enjoyed looking after the animals, you will absolutely fall in love with them during your time here. The meerkats and Pepe were the highlight of my trip (as well as the other volunteers of course!). Many thanks to Sam and everyone at the farm who made this experience so wonderful. I Hope to come back some day!

I loved my stay at the farm, it was my first volunteer experience and I felt so welcomed. All the volunteers are so friendly and warm, and Sam is a great host. He let's you try different tasks and respects your preferences for what you enjoy doing. It's kind of far from any "attractions", but Moncarapacho is a nice little town with most of what you need, and for me i just enjoyed spending time with all the other (amazing) volunteers, we did movie nights, went for hikes and played board games.

This was my first volunteering experience and i couldn't have chosen a better place to start my jouney. The host and the other volunteers were very open-minded and i had the chance to learn a lot about different cultures. I had a lot of fun working there. Especially, the opportunity to care for exotic animals was a once in a lifetime experience!
