The Experience

We need help in our English Language classes, in our out-of-class conversation classes and pictures and videos in English for our social pages. Our aim is to help people become fluent in foreign languages, with a specific attention to the English language and fill the existing gap in the Italian schools. We are close to Pompeii ruins and the Amalfi e Sorrento coast, so you can visit those places. We are half an hour from Naples too.

I had an amazing time at the school. Everyone was so welcoming from the very start. The town you are located in is a bit small but all of the nearby cities are easy to get to by train. The students were the most rewarding part of the entire experience, they are truly amazing and all eager to learn. The hours are reasonable. You have lessons in the morning and evening most days, and then get Sundays off. The apartment the volunteers stay in is very nice and you get weekly groceries. I'm so grateful for this experience and will miss my the school family!

I spent a month working at Globalfind and it was an unforgettable experience. It was a great opportunity to gain more confidence and increase my group leader skills. You are able to shadow other teachers for the first couple days before heading classes by yourself and I'll admit that it's a little intimidating at first. But I fell into the routine and the role within the first week. The globalfind team (Daniela, sunny, Carmen, and Ida) were welcoming from the get go, and I hope to return one day. I also became very close with the other volunteers and have made life-long memories with them all.

Volunteering at the school was an experience I'll truly treasure. If you have a passion for teaching, this opportunity feels incredibly special. The schedule was smooth, with a few morning lessons and most classes in the late afternoon. Daniela, Ida, Sunny, and Carmen were wonderfully supportive, and weekly groceries were provided with such kindness. I loved the cozy, well-equipped apartment below the school. Cooking, laughing, and bonding with the volunteers became cherished memories. The students were kind, curious, and excited to learn. I hope to return one day!

I had a great time at the school meeting the teachers there and fellow volunteers. The volunteers stayed in a shared apartment and we had groceries bought and delivered to us every week (we could request what we wanted)! You'll be based in a small town close to Pompeii. I would definitely recommend making a trip down to the Amalfi coast, which is around a 1.5-2 hour train ride and is very well worth a visit while you're in southern Italy! We received our schedules at the end of every week, with lessons in the morning and in the evening. Volunteering hours were respected.

My time at the school was nothing short of amazing! The people were so lovely and welcoming, our work was enjoyable, the accomodation is very nice and comfortable and I really liked the location in Scafati! Easily able to do weekend trips to many beautiful surrounding areas - Amalfi coast, Sorrento, islands, Pompei, Naples, etc. Thank you to the whole team, it was the perfect first Worldpackers experience! 🫶
