Had a good time at HOJ. Can recommend if you're a very social and outgoing person, since the main tasks are reception work and hosting different events for the guests 🌺 My only complaint would be that the hostel could be unorganised a times, but nothing that couldn't be fixed the day after by the owners or Dway (he always found a way🥸).

I loved the time at HOJ!! We were a group of volunteers working at the hostel and soon grew very close. We had a new schedule every week which included daily activities and reception work. I have never done this kind of work before so I was very grateful for all the help everyone offered me until I was totally sure what I have to do. It was a great place to get to know other travelers and make new friends. A big thank you especially to Cheryl and Rayson who have welcomed me and all the other volunteers big hearted and made it a home for us.

I loved my stay at the hostel! Rayson and Cheryl totally trust the volunteers and are helpful. The hostel is running by the volunteers so it felt like a little family. The tasks are easy and fun - I had an amazing time and can recommend the stay at the hostel!

Very nice experience!The hostel is managed all by volunteers so that I can know a lot about running a guesthouse. Cheryl and Rayson are nice hosts and helpful all the time. The accommodation is also very good. Cozy beds and great location where I can reach many local restaurants in a few steps. If you like party, this would be your best option in Georgetown.
