Description
This is a non-profit organization. The project does not receive any subsidies from the state. The fees help: Maintain the camp, house, and ensure the area is pleasant Purchase food for all meals, coffee, and fruits Buy materials for animal care (gloves, bags, hatchery supplies, etc.) Pay the staff working on the project Support the project's growth and operations

The Experience
It's full season ! Join us and help saving endangered Sea Turtles on an amazing beach in Costa Rica! We're in Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, close to Manuel Antonio. As a volunteer you'll help with night patrols, collect and hatch turtle eggs, help maintain the camp and gardening. Enjoy the experience of seeing a sea turtle laying eggs and baby sea turtle release! Nearly every day! Meet at the same time locals and internationals.

Emma and Milo make a great team! They cordinated with me to make sure I arrived safely and seamlessly every step of the way. They both were great about answering their phones which is super important. The food was pretty good and they don't shame you for asking for seconds either! The work is relatively laid back and quite easy really. Emma also helps organize little trips around Costa Rica if you want to see more of the land. Mostly I just spent my days being a beach bum and releasing turtles and the nights talking with the other volunteers and going on turtle patrol.

I know this sounds cheesy, but the entire week was like a movie from start to finish. Emma and Milo made us feel so welcome and loved. We were steps away from the ocean and I felt one with nature the entire week!

This project was the best thing I have ever done in my life. I love what they are doing here, I see that Milo the project leader put all his effort into conservation these species of sea turtles. He is kind hearted and he cares a lot about the volunteers to make sure we're safe. I'm grateful to have experienced this and being able to see two sea turtles, it was beautiful. I am also grateful to have met people from different countries and to be able to make new friendships. I highly recommend anyone try this project out!

This experience was transformative, thanks to Milo and his passionate talks about nature, the delicious meals carefully prepared by Sonia, Emma's kindness and help, and also the family we formed with all the volunteers. The place is paradise; you're just 20 meters from the beach to enjoy its wonderful light, the sunrise or sunset, swimming, releasing baby turtles, caring for eggs and hatchlings, and patrolling under the starry sun. Activities and excursions are also available with Emma's help. I highly recommend it; you'll cry when you leave!

Honestly this was such an incredible experience. hosts were so kind and i met the best people. hosts made amazing food and so supportive with answering questions and keeping everyone happy and safe. i felt so comfortable and wish i stayed longer. 10/10 recommend
