Hours per week: Help out and collaborate with your host only a few hours per week.

What you get

Days off per week: Have some time off for yourself, go explore the city or rest for a while.

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Support: Get help from the Worldpackers support team in case you need it, at any point of your trip.

The Experience

With spring around the corner we are looking for couples to help us prepare for the summer months. There are numerous tasks including gardening, wood cutting, decorating and a small amount of building work. We are looking for couples only currently.

It was our first experience and Ritchie and Karen have been really welcoming. Karen cooked us tasty and always different dinners, which we ate sitting all together at the table while chatting. The tasks were given us daily or depending on when we finished our previous one. We were able to organize our time, therefore deciding when to carry out our tasks. The perfect place for anyone who wants to live a different experience, completely immersed in nature!

Karen and Ritchie were super friendly from the first moment, always willing to help us with what we needed! Your farm is a beautiful place to enjoy nature and animals. They were luxury hosts, we were very happy that our first volunteering was with them. They are excellent people who work hard all day, our tasks were very varied every day, always accompanied by them. We shared very good dinners and talks. We went for two weeks and stayed for three weeks, it was a pleasure to meet you! Thank you for making us feel at home :)

For my first WorldPackers experience, the farm was perfect! Richie & Karen were delightful hosts; they were accommodating, beginning with Ritchie's warm welcome at the Auch station, and Karen providing her tasty dinners nightly. All the tasks and duties aligned with expectations. Our hosts gave a reasonable amount of work to chip away at, while allowing the perfect level of autonomy to complete the tasks at our own, comfortable pace. There was ample time leftover to enjoy the town & farm life (Richie & Karen even hosted us at local events) when we weren't working. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

Our experience at the farm was wonderful and we highly recommend it. Ritchie greeted us warmly at the station in Auch and the hospitality extended from he and Karen only grew from there. We arrived as strangers and left as friends and their personalities added more to the experience than we could have imagined. The property is beautiful, the lodging is comfortable and charming, and their animals sweet and fun. Our hosts also coordinated for us to attend local events and get a bit of cultural immersion. The work matched our expectations and was rewarding. Hope to return soon!
