I really enjoyed my time here. bled is such a special place. the perks of the jobs are incredible! you get access to several free activities in town, such as rafting & canyoning. it's a very social hostel and a lot of fun! my only critique is they don't properly train you and then correct you on things for the next month. still highly recommend!

Working on the best hostel in Slovenia, it was so nice and easy. Klemen, Ab, Miha, they were so good to me. The job super simple and working hours was fine, so I could enjoy the city during the rest of the day.

Despite other reviews, this has been my most disappointing volunteering ever thanks to one manager in particular; "Ab" as he calls himself. Given that I never felt any respect, nor kindness from him. Although the tasks are kinda easy to do, I felt it like a stressful burden when I was working for him since he wanted everything beyond perfect and there was no time to relax. There is a huge lack of leadership and community here, as there was never a feedback session between me and both managers. Klemen is a good guy, but Ab is the worst host I've worked for. Besides that, the hostel is fine.

I really enjoyed my time in Bled! I met many people from all over the world. This hostel is very social, so it's easy to make new friends. Bled is a beautiful place for an extended stay, there are many things to do here! The hostel owners offer volunteers free activities and pocket money. They showed me what to see in Slovenia and gave me some tips, they were helpful. However, I agree with previous reviews, the tasks are more like work. There is no specific training at the beginning, so this caused some misunderstandings later. Other than that, I had a great experience and I love Slovenia!

Enjoyed my time in Bled and at the hostel, the managers Klemen and AB were very kind and easy to talk to. The work was hard at times but worthwhile to maintain the standards for guests. Having the ability to go to the lake before or after shifts and on your days off was a big plus as the area is amazing and had plenty of things to do. Really appreciated the opportunity to see a country I was unfamiliar with before visiting.
