The Experience

After years of working for hotels and tour operators in Drake Bay, we've decided to combine our experience to develop our very own ecotourism and farm project. We are building cabins, making forest trails and viewpoints, keeping farm animals and cultivating crops using traditional organic techniques. This is an authentic cultural exchange working with a Costa Rican family in a rural area surrounded by wildlife and outstanding natural beauty.

Being at the farm has been the best volunteering experience ever. The owners are amazing and you are truly gonna experience the typical life of Costa Rica. The food, different everyday, is delicious and you can enjoy a lot of trips around the area. Everything is very special and made with love. I can't wait to come back. Muchas gracias por todo!

Overall I had a really great time at the farm. The location is a bit outside of Drake but it's really beautiful and you're in the middle of nature. You can experience a authentic Costa Rican lifestyle and food. Every meal is freshly cooked and really delicious. Eliza and Erik are great hosts and really try to let you have the best possible experience. It's a really new project so everything is still in the making but that allows you to be a part of it and help with ideas. Thank you for the great time at your place!! Pura vida

I enjoyed my time at the farm. As this is a new project there is a lot of room for advancement in activities, and opportunity to help a local family make progress toward their new property. This would be a very good project for someone who has a lot of ideas to contribute. Be prepared to possibly be one on one with the very kind host family. The food was delicious, the beach is 1 km away, the property is beautiful, the family is very sweet and helpful.
