This voluntary experience was a prime example for getting in touch with nature! I really enjoyed working on the farm with Josa-Luís and Claudia as well as the free time I had on my own on the property. Everybody, including Geralda and Rita, was caring, very helpful and patient for communicating with me, although my Portuguese is mediocre. It was also very pleasant I had the flexibility to divide my free time between the stunningly beautiful Diamantina and the farmhouse with breathtaking views. I stayed for two weeks and that was a perfect time to explore the region and doing beautiful hikes!

O sítioé um lugar incrível e mesmo no hostel na cidade a vista é linda, principalmente no nascer do sol. Agradeço imensamente a Dona Geralda, Dona Rita, Dona Selma, Seu Zé, Claudia e Mateus que fizeram a nossa experiência ser memorável. Adorei o dia a dia nao sítio, cuidar dos animais e dos pets. Fora os passeios na cidade e conhecer um pouquinho mais da historia de Diamantina e do Brasil.

Meus dias no sítioforam tranquilos,fiquei em uma das casas que tem na propriedade,pois a casa dos voluntários está em reforma e ao final vai ficar top10 hein,nas minhas folgas saia do sítioe ia para Diamantina que é pertinho,lá pude conhecer a cidade tomar umas cachaças mineiras, e fazer trilha e conhecer algumas das cachoeiras da região,a alimentação é entregue em dinheiro semanalmente e você mesmo faz a compra do seu alimento. Aqui é um lugar que realmente precisa de voluntários capazes de trabalhar em umao sítio,tem que ter um olhar atento com amor e carinho e compreensã
