The volunteers have to iron the bedsheets and do the beds of the hostel rooms. It's not a difficult task at all! Usually you will not be on your own during the ironing so you can have conversations during this time and you are also allowed to listen to music or something like that. The other stuff is really really friendly and so is the owner of the hostel as well. You get in touch with a lot of travelers. The park is a 15 min walks, the ocean is a bit father away, but still ok to walk. Also the metro is really near by. All in all I really enjoyed my stay there and would do it again. ☺️

I could not complete my stay due to a family problem but I stayed 10 days. Easy and quiet work. We were in the laundry area in the garage. We had to iron sheets, towels and pillowcases from 9:00 to 1:30 and sometimes the last half hour we had to make beds. The hostel was quiet. There was not much atmosphere due to the covid, so sometimes you got bored, it was very quiet but with a comfortable and tidy atmosphere.

My experience in the hostel was OK. Most of the time they would respect our work hours and the hostel itself is comfortable and cool. However, it was not a fun place to be, the manager could be rude sometimes. I believe he doesn't know how to treat volunteers. In the worldpackers platform breakfast was included but it wasn't when we got there and they never said a word about it. - I found it very unprofessional. On the other hand, the owner was polite but he was often out. After all, I have to assume that I met amazing people there, but I definitely wouldn't work there any longer.

This modern, loving hostel is definitely somewhere you should volunteer at. The staff will become your family and the work is very reasonable. Future improvements to the hostel (social etc) are already in the pipeline and will only increase the hostels already high standard. In short, highly recommend it.

The host and staffs are really friendly and nice. For the workload, it is not heavy at all and you can always share the tasks with your fellow worldpackers together as a team. For the hostel itself, it is really nice with high privacy for the beds and everything is so well-organized and clean which gives me a feeling of being home. I have made so many friends here and definitely recommend other worldpackers to join this warm family and enjoy a great work exchange experience.

The hostel it's a great place to volunteer! It is a very warm and cute place, it feels like a home, the staff is very friendly and approachable, the location is good, you can walk to the beach and very close to the metro station. Thanks to Vania for making my stay enjoyable.

The hostel was beyond my expectations! The staff is easygoing, helpful, patient and we easily became friends. I had the opportunity to start surfing and to meet very nice people! I really felt like I was at home, feeling free to do my job by my way, and to enjoy the beach or the city in my free time. It's a peaceful atmosphere with not so many guests, so you have the opportunity to know each one. I'm already missing the hostel! Hope to go back one day! I'll never forget this awesome experience. I don't know how to even begin to describe my experience in the hostel. It was definetly one of the best things that happened in my life. I made so many good friends, people that I'll keep with me for the rest of my life including the amazing people from staff, João, Vânia, Eduarda and Carla. They are so kindhearted and always willing to help you with anything. I really felt at home, plus the hostel is super confortable and clean and the chores are pretty easy. No doubt it is the best hostel I've ever stayed in my life! So many good memories. Thank you very much and I'll be back soon :)

The staff is always pain attentation if you are feeling good in the hostel, at the end you feel you are in home with a big family of friends! I really want to come back there! Also you have the metro stop really near and from there you can move almost for all porto, i just can say is an really pura vida hostel!!
