The hostel was a great Worldpackers experience. The work was the agreed hours and was varied so you can help out in various areas during your time there! Obviously it's a beautiful setting and everyone who works there (volunteers and permanent staff) were super easy to get along with so overall I had a really fun time! There's also beautiful places to visit nearby and you can experience a more local vibe if you want. Would defo recommend volunteering here if you have the chance!!♥️♥️

Super cool and chill place. Get your job done properly and enjoy the surrounding jungle. Angela and Sebastian are the two main pillars about the volunteering experience. An huge thanks to all the staff, everyone is really accomodating and let you easily become part of the family. I stayed for a week longer because the place and the energy are just amazing. I'll try to go back soon.

I was coming here with no expectations but I was happily surprised by all the aspects. The shifts are clear and always accomplished, the owners always listen to your needs and try to do the best to respect them. The tasks are well done, very simple. All the food is provided and the accomodation is a shared dorm for volunteers. Everything was amazing here, such a calm and wonderful place. Every day you have the chance to met guests from all over the world. I had the greatest time in the kitchen helping with my locas! Thanks for the amazing opportunity 10/10!! Go here if you have the chance!

The location is super good, you have a lot to explore around. the hostel is very social, easy to meet with other travellers. There are usually 4 volunteers. The work was mainly in the kitchen or in the bar. They were very flexible with my working hours. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone :)

Overall this was a very good experience. You are in a beautiful area and there are plenty of great places to explore. There were a few cons to volunteering here but they are working to resolve a lot of those issues. First is that scheduling is also done last minute making it difficult to book things to do on your day off. There is also a lack of training that happens upon arrival, and I think with some additional training and communication most issues could have been avoided. Though there were some challenges, if you bring issues to their attention they will try to find solutions.
