Elizabeth and Fritz welcomed me warmly on my first volunteering experience. I could always turn to them with anything — and to Manu as well. I slept inthe farm farmfarmcamper van; the farmfarmfirst few nights were cold, but they provided extra blankets. the farmfarmwhole place felt homely and authentic. Our tasks (wateringthe farm farmfarmyoung grapevines, doing some weeding and cleaning aroundthe farm farmfarmhouse) were simple, andthe farm farmfarmworking hours were flexible. I also grew very fond ofthe farm farmfarmdogs — all 9 of them!

I have worked inthethe farm farmfarmfarmfor a month, andthe farm farmfarmexperience was a blend of different things. the farmfarmbeauty of nature andthe farm farmfarmpossibilty to get immersed in it, meeting new volunteers and making long term friends, learning new skills (carpentary, gardening, handyman, cleaning, animal care, problem solving, taking responsibilities, etc.) and apart from it, the farmfarmproximity tothe farm farmfarmnature gives a spiritual vibe which is so helpful for introspection and self growth purposes!
