There is so much I can say about this WorldPackers. Everything all the other reviews say about the team making you feel like family and Danny always supporting you is very true. It is so inspiring what Danny and his mother and other locals in the team do. Work is relaxed and flexible with a lot of activities in between. My friend and I were here for only about a week but I feel lucky enough to find a reconnection with nature here that I thought I lost a long time ago. Danny really gives permission to and helps bring out your inner child. It was a beautiful experience.

This was my first international and solo trip, and it couldn't have been a better experience. From the beginning, Danny always made me feel welcome and made sure that I was comfortable during my stay. I met so many amazing people, both volunteers and locals, and had so many amazing experiences!! Danny always made sure to tell us what we were going to be doing, when, and what to expect. But he was also very adaptable, especially when the weather put a dent in our plans. You can tell he really loves and cares about what he's doing, and genuinely wants what's best for the animals and envirnonment

Danny and the shelter experience was by far the most unique experience I've ever had in my life!! It was so much more than my expectations, we got the chance not only to visit but to create impact for the Amazon ecosystem. The volunteer job was simple but meaningful, Danny was always open to my ideas and gave great suggestions and plenty of time for me to create content. He was also very supportive to every idea I have. The days staying there was amazing, I got to meet a lot of locals and amazing international travellers and had great connections with them. I would definitely recommend!!!

I cannot recommend this more, a week was not enough! Danny is so passionate about what he does, so knowledgable and really takes the time to take you on excursions and explain things! The work is a real mixture including animal care, path upkeep etc, it is generally quite relaxed! The food is amazing with 3 big meals, and the whole the shelter team are incredible, they're so happy to share their culture, particularly within the native community , so you really get a true cultural jungle experience! The new volunteer house is going to be amazing too!

I spend 10 days at Am0zonas and it was a truly amazing experience! Daniel is so kind and makes you feel very welcome. As this program includes multiple projects I was able to get to know the local people and work in different areas - with the cutest animals, in the village of the indigenous people, help build/renovate a house and go on small excursions etc. Regarding working hours some days might be longer others shorter, if you feel overwhelmed you can always tell Daniel. Get ready for an adventure!:)
