The Experience

Julia made us feel welcome right away and really took the time to get to know us, while also orienting us to the home, the family, and the surrounding community. We really enjoyed each other's company, and quickly felt at ease around each other. During our monthlong stay we were given a lot of agency working on the land (weeding, gardening, tending to chickens, and helping create a water recycling pool), and had a really memorable time getting to know their son, who at 3 years old is a delightful ball of energy. Would recommend!
