The Experience

We are looking for one or two volunteers (couples) who'll have a bed in a room in our house in exchange for helping out a few hours a day in our garden and with support with our little baby in things like babysitting. There is plenty of opportunity to meet travelers at the hostel next door to use the hostel's facilities, including a beautiful park, kitchen, and fast internet. The volunteers' floor in our house has a small kitchen and WC.

I had an amazing volunteering experience the home Edera. The place itself was absolutely beautiful — surrounded by stunning nature, with plenty of hiking trails nearby for those who love the outdoors. If hiking isn't your thing, you can simply relax at the villa and enjoy the garden, which is truly a peaceful place. The working hours were respected, and most of the time they were flexible, which made balancing work and free time easy. Mike, our host, treated us very well and made sure we felt comfortable and supported throughout our stay. Thank you for having us!

An amazing experience! Being surrounded by nature makes it the perfect place to relax and truly reconnect with yourself. The atmosphere is peaceful, green, and inspiring. Mike and Eleonora, the hosts, are incredible peopleand always open to sharing their knowledge and good energy. The work was varied and usually very flexible, which gave me time to enjoy the surroundings and recharge. I'm really grateful for this magical experience. Amazing experience, amazing host and beautiful place with a really good and spacious room, I had an extremely comfortable and peaceful stay here, was able to help out in very well explained tasks and then enjoy the view, meet local people and learn about the culture and the language, got a transport card for all of Ticino and also appreciated that I had a cooking area for myself which is almost impossible to find in other volunteering places and really helpful, and I could go on but in general a great place I'd recommend to anyone

Ah! An absolutely beautiful place and experience! Mike and Eleonora were so kind and hospitable during my stay in Auressio. This was my first time as a World packer, which made for some nerves going into it… but by the end of my time there, it felt like a home away from home. The Valley is truly a treasure that holds such rich culture, breathtaking views, and a sense of peace that I feel is unmatched. The work was fun and I enjoyed the variety of tasks (painting, gardening, etc). I'll very much miss this place and would recommend it to anyone. Thank ya'll so much, Ciao! <3
