Miha has created a warm and welcoming environment for volunteers and a place that felt like home during my time there. The tasks were always made clear and there were constant open channels of communication too. Bled and the wider region were of course beautiful too, having plenty of time to explore - adding to an experience made wonderful through the generosity and compassion of Miha, Oscar, Danilo and everyone else behind the scenes.

My time at the hostel was great experience. As it was my first volunteering experience i didn't know what to expect. Miha and the volunteers have created a great environment that makes everyone feel included and at home. The housekeeping tasks were kept to a high standard but still very manageable. I credit Miha in his communication skills and easy going approach that makes learning and life in Bled very easy. Highly recommend and would like to come back again. Cheers Miha !

Volunteering at this hostel was an unforgettable experience. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and I met amazing people from all over the world. Bled is absolutely beautiful, with nature that feels almost unreal, and it was incredible to explore it during my stay. Miha was always respectful and very kind.

Loved my time in Bled! Miha is a wonderful host and takes great care of the volunteers providing us with our own stocked kitchen, opportunities to try fun activities in the area, and respecting our working hours. We worked around 30hrs a week, but I felt like I had more than enough free time to explore Bled and the surrounding area. Slovenia is such a beautiful country, you'll never run out of things to do and I met so many amazing travelers coming through the hostel. It was definitely bittersweet leaving because I made so many great memories in such a short amount of time :)

I had a great time volunteering at Hostel Bledlec. The hostel is well located to the lake, castle, township, shops and everything you need. Nice and relaxed vibe at the hostel, with lots of cool travellers coming through. Such a beautiful area, day trips are possible to so many hikes and stunning national parks. I would highly recommend.
