The Experience
Help us restore Oobeh and make it an increasingly welcoming space: artists, artisans, creatives or any value you can and want to bring: we need your help to make this community ever larger and more welcoming. We will work in the beauty of the context of community life: preparing healthy meals, house cleaning, managing the hospitality of our B&B, taking care of the vegetable garden, having fun, walking, sharing stories... And much much more...

Soheil and Elena were incredibly warm and welcoming people and the project community they're creating transcended my expectations of exchange in a volunteer experience. I feel lucky to have learned more about Italian and Persian cultures and to have met international travelers during my time with them. They passed along knowledge of permaculture and introduced us volunteers to different people and places in their community. Very grateful for my time with this community in Vedriano, one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I've experienced!

Soheil and Elena are a vibrant young couple with a beautiful project in development, which leads to diverse and fulfilling kinds of chores to be done. We had great times together around the table with delicious vegetarian meals and deep conversations. Obeh welcomes every new guest with a open heart and unique care. The house is isolated within a gorgeous landscape in the mountains, as if nature invites you to a stroll and inner reflection. Best regards to Obeh and I wish to come back in the future :)

This was a wonderful experience. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable, and the food and ingredients to cook with are amazing😍 Soheil has an open mind and the project he is working on is going to be great. The hours were respected and there's lots of flexibility. Special thanks to Elena who is a literal ray of sunshine, her positivity radiates and we are so thankful for all she did. Apply for this position if you want a beautiful place out in nature, working together in a community of good people, especially if you consider yourself an artistic person.

My experience with Soheil and Elena was very nice. They are hosts who care about you, help with anything you need, and are always willing to listen and share stories. We enjoyed our stay in a large and comfortable room they provided for my partner and me. The tasks were well explained, and all necessary tools were provided. The food? Excellent, very tasty! They always gave us different things to try and offered more if we were hungry, haha. Thank you, Soheil and Elena, for sharing with us and hosting us in this volunteer experience.

The place is really cool! It's just a place away from everything. It's great if you want to connect with yourself and have a little awareness. As for the work, it was heavy because it is physical work, although Soheil always respecting the hours and providing equipment to perform the tasks. The project is very interesting and I hope Soheil can finish it soon! I really enjoy the time there and spend time with other volunteers.
