The Experience
If you are a friendly, outgoing person and fancy spending some time in England's friendliest and greenest city, come and join our team. Each space has been designed by a different artist, with no two rooms the same... We like our volunteers to be prepared to share all the everyday practical tasks. This role involves cleaning duties, looking after guests & ensuring the security of the hostel at night.

I had a great experience volunteering at the hostel and I learnt a lot as well! Charlotte and Eiry are very warm and welcoming, and were amazing to work with and get to know. The volunteer team were so so lovely, which made the hostel instantly feel like home, I will miss them all very much! The work hours were more than fair and I had so much time to travel and explore different places! Thank you Charlotte and Eiry for this opportunity!! I love you guys and I hope to stay in touch xx

My experience at the hostel couldn't have been better! I truly appreciate that they made me feel welcome from day one. Charlotte, Eiry, and all the volunteers I spent time with were incredible, and I'm sure they'll all be held in a special place in my heart. I'm sure I made lifelong friends, and I would be happy to go back at some point in the future! I'd definitely recommend the hostel to anyone who wants to be surrounded by amazing and interesting people.

I had an AMAZING time a the hostel. The team was incredibly welcoming, the hours/workload were very manageable and I was able to travel around the area easily from their location. Leeds is a vibrant city to spend time in, and the other volunteers made my time in the hostel even more enjoyable. Eiry and Charlotte are fantastic leaders, I always felt supported by the management team! Overall I wish my time at the hostel lasted even longer, I would highly recommend this experience to other volunteers :)

Volunteering in the hostel was incredible! Charlotte and Eiry are the best hosts in the world and the whole team is fantastic. The work is very relaxed and I had plenty of time to explore Leeds and other areas. I will definitely miss this experience.

It was beyond incredible the time I spent here, the people I met, and friendships I made.. a truly amazing experience ❤️ The hours, and work, are extremely fair and perfect for what the exchange of volunteering is all about.. I ended up extending my period twice haha, and the wish was to be able to stay longer.. I highly recommend it this experience. Thank you so much to everyone who made this even better than I imagined.. especially Eiry and Charlotte, for all the attention and affection towards all of us, you are incredible 🫶🏻
