The Experience

The estate, built in 1354, was bought by the Templar Knights of Malta, after two failed attempts by the branch of the Roman Catholic Church of Siena that deals with healing and hospitals, Santa Maria della Scala di Siena. We need someone with building experience to do some plastering repairs, repair and build some outside stone and cement walls

It was a wonderful experience being there! Our room was comfortable, the food was always fresh and they care about our needs. Raymond is a strong character and Ilaria makes the weekends special. The works are relatively hard but rewarding at the end, and Ray makes every task clear enough. I would definetely recommend this place for couples! All the best to Ray and Ilaria

Podere Sasso was a peaceful and inspiring place, deeply connected with nature. During my time there, I had the opportunity to model and design the rooms of the home house. This experience was very meaningful and enriching for my career in interior architecture. No one tried to impose limits or act superior. it truly felt like I was at my family's summer house. Raymond was a wonderful host and the meals were delicious. The village is a bit far, but if you see it as a bit of exercise, it becomes much more enjoyable. Thank you for everything. I really loved the place and it felt amazing to enter the property. Its true what others say, Podero Sasso has something magical. Great for people who like nature and are not afraid to get their hands dirty, i liked the fact that you can organize your own working hours as long as you manage to do the 30hours a week. Also the people you work with are really kind , same goes for Raymond and his wife. They make you feel welcome and appreciated. About the food, you can make your own breakfast and the lunch and diner they provide is amazing. They take good care of you. 10/10 ❤️ cheers
