The Experience

Hi! We are Maria (26, Spanish/English) and Ben (28, English), a couple with a magic mountain dream. We have two energetic sweet dogs. A year ago, we bought an old bar, two houses, a stone cabin, and some land in the mountains to live out our dream of a simple life connected to nature. There are lots of jobs to be done and lots of fun to be had. We love running, hiking, cycling, and, of course, a beer by the fire. We look forward to meeting you!

This worldpackers experience is top tier. One of my favorite; views, people, nature. I could go on forever. Both of the hosts are some of the kindest people on the app. The dogs and cat are adorable and very lovely. The work is educational and you can see a change instantly. If you come to this place you are very lucky.

Maria & Ben are the absolute best! I had the best time experiencing what it's like to live with nature! They are kind, welcoming and generous hosts, who want to get to know you, and also want to feed you really good food! I learned a lot about nature, gardening, hiking, restoring homes, and mostly about preserving nature and learning to live with the land, rather than taking from it. The views are spectacular as well! There's hiking 10 minutes away, or hiking for as far as you can see! Their dogs Howie & Sangha are the best as well- prepare for lots of cuddles and kisses:)

We stayed at Maria's for a month and we absolutely loved it! She is a great person, very friendly and available. The house is a very peaceful place in the middle of the farm. Jobs are diverses and we learned a lot helping them... looking forward to see the final result! Dogs are lovely and full of love (We miss your Shangi and Kiwi). Food is the best you can imagine! It is higlhy posible that we come back ;)
