The Experience

We have a gites (holiday rentals) in a lovely village in Provence. It is near hiking and biking and lots of lovely vineyards around. We need help with with preparing the gites for new guests, spring cleaning, sorting bedding and towels, welcoming guests (if applicable), gardening, pool maintenance, some painting, some cleaning & laundry. Train/Airport pick-ups. Plenty of time for you to enjoy the sunshine and practise/learn French.

The host couple are lovely and welcoming! The tasks were fairly simple and you get to spend a lot of time outdoors. It's a very peaceful place surrounded by beautiful nature. The fact you get your own apartment is great. Thank you for having me Sissi and Alistair.

Hello to Worldpackers! I'm about to end my experience in Villes Sur Auzon at Sissi and Alastair house. It has been a beautiful stay, amazing weather representative of south France. Great place to do bike tours using the bikes available at this house. Sissi and Alastair are present for anything you need, very trustworthy people. Make sure you ask beforehand if you are not sure, because there is plenty opportunities to learn. I hope I can come back next years!

It is a small quite village with nice and helpful people. I found french teacher very quick within the village. My favorite walk was going to the next village called Mormoiron. It takes around 2 hours. There were many small events within the village in the comunal building as pilates, bachata, cinema,bingo,... As winter time, I even study a bit;-) The stay was very confortable and nice. I was very lucky.... A private apparement for my own!!!! The everyday jobs were fine and sometimes even fun!! I really enjoy my experience there.
