I spent over three months at the camping camp and found it to be a truly special place, perfect for disconnecting from urban life. I worked caring for farm animals; the tasks were spread throughout the day and could be tiring, but there was also plenty of free time. The camp is surrounded by nature, close to Hart van Drenthe and a lake. Borger is nearby and bikes are provided. I met wonderful people, learned horse riding for the first time, and felt well supported, though communication and grocery management could be improved. It was my first Worldpackers experience and I highly recommend it!

This was my first experience and I could not have wished for a better one! The girls that stayed there made me feel very welcome and loved. I could ask questions to everyone without judgement. I think the work wasn't very demanding but I think that depends on your general condition. I was able to ride whenever I wanted and the instructor gave me lot's of tips to improve. I would love to come back in the summer :)

It was really fun and i learned a lot about the dutch culture. Naduah and everyone at the camping are really nice and always happy to help and explain everything. I had so much fun, i felt really good at the apartment and the girls were the absolut best!. Its really close to cities/towns so you have a lot of ways to explore and find places. If you ever have to work extra or ask you to do it, they will always tell you and make it fair. Just read really carefully cause there are some other tasks you may have to do, but they are always in group and agreed upon hand. But would always recommend!

This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have gotten luckier. The farm is surrounded by nature and you get to explore the huge forest, swim or paddleboard on the lake, go on horse or bikerides, join the alpaca walks and so much more. The work on the farm is very physically demanding and takes time to get used to so be ready for a lot of hands on work. One of the best parts about my experience were definitely all the wonderful girls I met and the memories we made. I loved living in the apartment and will cherish my time on the farm forever. I miss it already and hope to be back.
