The Experience
Join our team at a charming resort on Koh Phayam! We need help with cleaning, gardening, maintenance, guest relations, and helping baking in the wood fired oven. Volunteering for two weeks at the host in Koh Phayam was the icing on the cake of my 2 months backpack around Thailand. I truly loved my stay and my experience over the work and on the island, which turned out to be my favorite place in the whole country. Chiyoko is a really clever and bright woman who made the volunteer even more special with her friendly team. I would definitely recommend it for those who wanna live the experience of working and living on a humble and magical Island. The bungalow provided is also amazing!

I signed up to stay here for two weeks and didn't realize it was the end of the season so when I arrived, it was much hotter and less busy than I expected, but I ended up staying over a month! This has been one of my favorite work exchanges all year because this island and Chiyoko are absolutely amazing! It's hard to even think about leaving! She was very flexible with the schedule and responsibilities, the bungalow all to myself was a nice treat (just be aware it's hot with no AC!), and being the end of the season, I was able to really enjoy the slow life for a while! 10/10 highly recommend!
