Working with the hostel was a great experience. The work is flexible and there's room for creativity. Sleither is also a great host with a great personality, and you can tell he truly cares about his volunteers. Definitely a great opportunity if you get the chance to volunteer at the hostel!

Location of this hostel is perfect, easy to find, and close to the main town but far enough from party noise, right across the street from the beach. You have access to a super nice hotel called Dharma, such as pool, restaurant, gym,etc. Sleither is really accommodating to the work schedule and knows all the best places to make your trip enjoyable. There's a lot to do in this town but it's also super laid back vibe. Low season so task were minimal and there is renovations happening at the moment. It's going to be super beautiful when complete. Team dorm was comfortable and shower was hot!

Great opportunity in the surf city of Montañita. The workload is light and gives you plenty of time to enjoy the town. The volunteering comes with cool benefits as well - the possibility to visit the sauna, gym, and pool in a nearby hotel, and free entry into a club in the town. The management are in the process of building new kitchen and expanding the hostel to make the place even better.
