An incredible experience that I recommend to anyone who is interested in languages and teaching. Eliana and Diego are super friendly hosts that make you feel welcome and at home. Also the staff and other teachers are super friendly and helpful. And it is great to meet and interact with the students. I would definitely go back if i had the chance. I can say that it is one of the best worldpacker experiences I have ever had.

I spent three weeks at SALC Manta and enjoyed my time. All the teachers were friendly and welcoming, and the students were enthusiastic and eager to learn. The work involved having one on one conversations with students and helping them practice speaking using questions from the guide book for 4 hours per day. The accommodation with private room and pool was excellent and the lunch served at a nearby restaurant and was always delicious. On weekends, I explored nearby beaches and enjoyed eating local dishes. Thanks Eliana and Diego for this wonderful and rewarding experience!!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my first volunteer trip. I'm truly grateful to Eliana and Diego for all the kindness and warmth they shared with me , they made me feel at home from day one. This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was wonderful! The hours are exactly as explained in the application and the lunches provided each work day are delicious. You get your own bedroom and bathroom which is very nice as well as a pool in the backyard. The food here is healthy and delicious, especially the ceviche. I will miss the beaches the most! Thank you to all the students and staff who helped make my experience amazing!
